In-house manufactured PE-based zipper
In the first phase, we launched the production of PE-based zippers specifically for our recyclable, mono-structure, resealable packaging. This development is fully aligned with our commitment to providing our partners with packaging systems that are both sustainable and highly functional.
Resealability is now a basic requirement for snack, coffee, powdered, and other food packaging. Consumer demand is clearly shifting toward convenient, reusable, and securely resealable solutions. Our in-house ZIP closure allows us to respond to these expectations quickly, flexibly, and with consistent quality.
Full control, greater flexibility
In-house production of the sealing bar offers a strategic advantage:
- we do not source the core component from an external supplier,
- supplier risk is reduced,
- lead times are shortened,
- we maintain full control over production and quality assurance,
- and we can flexibly adapt to our partners’ specific needs.
This integration further strengthens Sipospack’s position in the market for complex, customized packaging solutions.
Sipos Zip ® – also available as a standalone product
The new production capacity does not merely support our own packaging. We are also making the product available to our partners under the Sipos Zip® brand name as a complementary solution. This allows manufacturers and processors who wish to integrate the zipper into their own packaging systems to benefit from the quality and flexibility we provide.

The production of the ZIP closure is largely powered by solar energy, which is in line with our sustainability strategy. Our goal is for packaging innovation to be forward-thinking not only in terms of functionality and economics, but also from an environmental perspective.
