We have reached another milestone of strategic importance in the operations of Sipospack Kft.: we have taken full control of the production of zipper closures (ZIP closures). Starting in March, the proces<\/h2>\n

In-house manufactured PE-based zipper<\/h3>\n

In the first phase, we launched the production of PE-based zippers specifically for our recyclable, mono-structure, resealable packaging. This development is fully aligned with our commitment to providing our partners with packaging systems that are both sustainable and highly functional.<\/p>\n

Resealability is now a basic requirement for snack, coffee, powdered, and other food packaging.<\/a><\/strong> Consumer demand is clearly shifting toward convenient, reusable, and securely resealable solutions. Our in-house ZIP closure allows us to respond to these expectations quickly, flexibly, and with consistent quality.<\/p>\n

Full control, greater flexibility<\/h3>\n

In-house production of the sealing bar offers a strategic advantage:<\/p>\n

  • we do not source the core component from an external supplier,<\/li>\n
  • supplier risk is reduced,<\/li>\n
  • lead times are shortened,<\/li>\n
  • we maintain full control over production and quality assurance,<\/li>\n
  • and we can flexibly adapt to our partners\u2019 specific needs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    This integration further strengthens Sipospack\u2019s position in the market for complex, customized packaging solutions.<\/p>\n

    Sipos Zip \u00ae \u2013 also available as a standalone product<\/h3>\n

    The new production capacity does not merely support our own packaging. We are also making the product available to our partners under the Sipos Zip\u00ae brand name as a complementary solution. This allows manufacturers and processors who wish to integrate the zipper into their own packaging systems to benefit from the quality and flexibility we provide.<\/p>\n

    Sustainable operations \u2013 solar-powered manufacturing<\/h3>\n

    The production of the ZIP closure is largely powered by solar energy, which is in line with our sustainability strategy. Our goal is for packaging innovation to be forward-thinking not only in terms of functionality and economics, but also from an environmental perspective.<\/p>\n
